This is the Group to join if you want to receive e-cards on your birthday!  Depending on the size of the Group, you may get quite a few.

I've found that there are many shut-ins and individuals who do not have much contact with other people who consider VOX to be their family.  And we ARE family....a very supportive one who genuinely care for others.  What a wonderful gesture to receive e-cards from your VOX family when that may be the only remembrance you receive on your very own special day.  Even if you have a lot of family and friends, e-cards from your VOX family should be all part of the fun!

After clicking on the "Join" link, you need to send me (I-Luv-Eeyore) a message with the following information:

1. Your VOX username

2. Your real name (optional)

3. Your birth month and date (year is optional)

4. The area you live in (state, province, country)

5. An email address (other than VOX -- ecards will not come through to that address) where all your e-cards can be sent.  You can get free accounts with Hotmail, Yahoo, gmail, etc.

Please do not send any adult-oriented or religious e-cards to the birthday baby.  *smile*  We don't know what their views are on such topics, and the cards are not meant to disturb but rather to brighten up that person's day.

Because we all live in different time zones, I will send out a notice to all the members 24-48 hours in advance of the person's birthday.  If the Group becomes very large, it is entirely up to you whether to pick and choose people or if you want to send one to every person having a birthday.  Since we don't know their circumstances, these e-cards may be the only kindness they receive on their special day.

In the meantime, you can all chat amongst yourselves in the Group.  Recommend good websites for e-cards.  Make friends.  Enjoy yourselves.
